OCCABUZZ exists to close one gap: the distance between what clinical science actually proves and what the wellness market is willing to sell. Between those two numbers sits an industry — and the difference is paid for by the person who trusted the label.
We are not a store, an affiliate, or a supplement brand. We are an intelligence platform. We vet protocols, devices, and molecules across longevity, cognition, sleep, and biometrics — and we publish calibrated, evidence-graded intelligence rather than marketing. The score is a geometric mean — a single failed layer collapses it. Excellence in two cannot rescue a gap in the third. That is why hype scores low and proven, feasible, broadly-applicable work scores high. The restraint is the product.
THE GRADE LADDER
WHAT A RATING MEANSA rating is a claim about evidence, not enthusiasm. The confidence of our language is bound to the grade — never louder than the proof allows. This is what each grade commits us to.
Every published rating also carries a Certainty Index (0–100) — our calibrated confidence at the time of writing. It is not a score for the intervention; it is a measure of how sure the evidence lets us be. When the science moves, the index moves with it, in public.
INDEPENDENCE & DISCLOSURE
The grade is independent of the sale. Always.

A grade is assigned on the evidence alone — before any commercial relationship exists, and it does not move because one begins.

Where a molecule or device carries a purchase or affiliate link, that relationship is disclosed on the page itself. It never buys a higher grade, a softer caveat, or a place in the grid.

We are not paid to rate favorably, and a brand cannot purchase its rating. If a graded item later fails, the grade falls — in public, on the record.
EDITORIAL PRINCIPLE
Calibration over certainty.
Our commitment is not to be right — it is to be calibrated. The 2035+ window is a projection, not a promise. When the evidence moves, our position moves with it, in public. Credibility is accumulated one honest revision at a time.
