The whole thing reduces to three decisions: what it's FOR (resilience, alertness, sleep — not fat loss or 'inflammation'), how COLD and how LONG (short and genuinely cold beats long and lukewarm), and — the one that separates the operator from the influencer — WHEN NOT to do it (never in the hours after a hypertrophy session, where cold blunts the growth you trained for).

Never hyperventilate before immersion (blackout risk) and never breath-hold with the head submerged.
